DescriptionPlutonic, medium-grained (1-5 mm) igneous rock that is mostly (85%) light-grey on a fresh surface with ~15% black mineral clusters (1 mm - 1 cm). Consists of 60% white plagioclase crystals (2-4 mm), 30% light grey quartz crystals (<1 mm - 4 mm), 5% K-feldspar (< 1 mm), and 5% black biotite (1-3 mm).
