DescriptionPorphyritic light-grey salt-and-pepper igneous rock composed of 35% white blocky plagioclase phenocrysts (3-8 mm) in a groundmass of 34% light-grey quartz (<1 - 5 mm), ~20% k-feldspar (<1 mm, not apparent in hand sample), 5% black biotite (≤ 1 mm), 1% black hornblende laths (≤ 5 mm), and trace amounts of rusty brown allanite.
