DescriptionVolcanic (grains are < 0.1 mm) igneous rock that is very light brown-cream colored on a fresh surface and light grey on a weathered surface with submillimeter-sized black minerals throughout. Based on the color of the overall rock, it is probably chemically equivalent to a granite.
